About ForestMatters

A simple business that plants trees. That's it.

Why we started.

Military service has an enormous environmental footprint. Jet fuel, munitions, vehicles, land cleared for operations and bases. You see it. You're part of it. Not guilt exactly, but awareness. A quiet understanding that the mission comes at a cost the land pays.

After service, you want to put something back. Not with a manifesto or a nonprofit or a TED talk. Just a simple, honest business that funds reforestation through verified partners. No investors, no corporate sponsors, no greenwashing. You pay, trees are planted, you see the proof. That's ForestMatters.

What we believe.

Transparency over marketing.

You can see where your trees are planted, through which partner, and how many. We don't hide behind vague carbon offset claims.

Action over certification.

A $29/month subscription plants 10 real trees. That's more tangible than any $2,000 certification plaque on your wall.

Simplicity over complexity.

Pick a plan. Trees are planted through our verified partners. You get the proof. Three steps. No consultants, no audits, no 40-page reports.

What's next.

Right now, your trees are planted through international reforestation partners. That matters, and those trees are real.

But our goal is to plant in American forests. We're working with the National Forest Foundation to offer U.S. National Forest planting through their Sapling Program. Tongass, Coconino, Shasta-Trinity. Real forests, close to home.

A veteran-owned company planting in American National Forests. That's the plan. Subscriber growth is what gets us there.
